Hi everyone, this is my first foray into the world of blogging, so I hope you will all bear with me. First, a bit about myself. I am an attorney and I retired a couple of years ago when I turned 60. I have been patiently waiting for my husband, Jack, to reach 65 and join me for some fun and on May 6, 2017, his 65th Birthday, he took the leap and joined me in the ranks of the retired. Jack and I are a relative newlyweds since we are only in our 2d year of marriage (thank you Match.com) and so we are looking forward to some fantastic trips and just enjoying life together.
The impetus for the blog was an efficient way to share our experiences with friends and family and spare our Facebook friends from a TMI situation with our activities. This way, I figure, those that are interested can check it out and those that aren’t don’t have to be an unwitting audience.
We have embarked on a month long European trip, beginning in France and then traveling South from Paris by car to Italy and ending up in Amsterdam before returning home.
